3D Metal Printing
SLM Metal 3D Printing
Metal 3D printing using SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technology, ideal for companies looking for fast, flexible, and customized manufacturing solutions.
RAPID PROTOTYPING
Ready-to-Use Metal Prototypes
SR Tech supplies custom metal components manufactured using SLM (Selective Laser Melting) 3D printing technology, ideal for companies looking for fast, flexible, and customized solutions. We produce technical parts directly from CAD files, significantly reducing development time.
SLM technology is the ideal choice for functional prototypes, pre-production batches, and low-volume production, especially when investing in tooling or dedicated equipment is not economically viable.
It also enables the production of highly complex geometries, lightweight structures, and shapes that would be difficult or impossible to achieve with conventional manufacturing processes, without any tooling costs.
SR Tech can also supply fully finished, assembly-ready components, complete with CNC machining to drawing specifications and a wide range of surface finishes, including brushing, satin finishing, sandblasting, and mirror polishing.
The ideal solution when speed, high quality, and maximum design flexibility are essential.
HOW 3D – SLM PRINTING WORKS
SLM Technology – High-Definition 3D Metal Printing
SLM technology (Selective Laser Melting) is a metal 3D printing process that makes it possible to produce complex components directly from a CAD model by melting metal powder layer by layer using a high-power laser.
During the process, a thin layer of metal powder is spread across the build platform. The laser selectively melts only the areas defined by the 3D design, creating the component geometry. Once one layer is completed, the platform lowers and the cycle repeats until the part is fully built.
THE PROCESS STEP BY STEP
- Receiving the 3D file in STEP or IGES format
- Feasibility check and quotation
- Production start
- Slicing of the model into thin layers
- Metal powder deposition
- Selective laser melting
- Cycle repetition until completion
- Residual powder removal and final finishing
- Custom mechanical machining
- Surface finishes
